Apple tablets, or iPads, are a in unique class all their own in terms of basic programming and design, and they have some amazing features, so it’s no wonder they are so wildly popular.
iPads are generally more expensive than Android tablets,
but there are a lot of people who think the Apple design is more than worth the extra money.
Apple started trying to invent the iPad many years ago, but the first edition of it wasn’t actually on store shelves until 2007, when the iPad 7 came out.
Today, there are quite a few versions of the iPad to choose from, with various capabilities and price points.
Unique Features:
All iPads run on Apple’s unique proprietary operating system, called iOS,
which gives them some properties and abilities that are different from Android tablets.
There are currently well over a million apps available for iPads,
so no matter what you may need to do on an iPad, there’s probably an app for that.
Apple does a thorough check on each app that someone puts out before it is allowed into the App Store, so users can have confidence that the apps they buy are safe.
This makes your iPad a very versatile machine, although you can’t have a lot of apps open and running at the same time, as the iOS doesn’t support that.
Apple Tablets Models:
There are five iPad models currently on store shelves throughout North America,
although there have been many other models produced over the years since the iPad was first sold.
The iPad Mini has a 7.2 inch display, which makes it more portable than the big tablets,
but also gives a small screen that may not be to everyone’s taste.
The iPad Air is larger, with a 10.5 inch screen and some premium features that make it very popular,
since it has a lower price point than the fancier ones.
There are other iPad models in development, and new models will be coming out on a regular basis.
